 Please follow the following steps to register your child for MMS athletics:

1. Complete a sports physical by a physician. Upload documentation to your rSchooltoday account. 

2. Complete the online registration. 

*Any student planning on participating in a sport at MMS must complete the online registration through rSchooltoday

*Only one account per family is all that is needed to register.  Please note that athletes must get a sports physical before registration can be completed.  It is strongly encouraged that registration be completed one week prior to first practice.

Communication Methods:

All MMS coaches will be using REMIND to communicate with parents and athletes.  It is important that you download the REMIND app and sign up.  This is how you will be able to get information directly from the coaches throughout the season.  You can download the app and enter the code provided by your sport or you can text the code provided to 81010.

Brain bowl

Brain Bowl is a trivia-style team quiz competition held after school, challenging students’ knowledge and promoting teamwork and quick thinking.

FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA helps students learn leadership skills and business knowledge through engaging activities and competitions.

FAMILY, CAREER, & COMMUNITY LEADERS OF AMERICA helps students have the opportunity to learn skills for leadership, career development, and community involvement.

FFA

FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA helps students to learn more about agricultural education and gain leadership development through hands-on learning and activities.

Game club

An opportunity for students to play various board games including chess, checkers, Dungeons and Dragons, and many more with peers.

Lego CLUB

Students have the opportunity to build sophisticated objects and structures using Legos, enhancing their creativity and problem-solving skills with their follow peers.

NJHS

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY recognizes outstanding students for their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community service.

POKEMON CLUB

Students have the opportunity to bring their Pokémon cards to battle one another, encouraging strategic thinking, friendly competition, and a shared passion.

Sources OF YOUTH STRENGTH

Youth mental health promotion and suicide prevention club that uses peer networks to create healthy norms and prevent suicide, violence, bullying, and substance misuse.

spelLING bee

Prepares students for team spelling competitions, enhancing their spelling skills, building confidence, and developing teamwork and sportsmanship through practice sessions and friendly contests.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Promotes leadership and organizing events, representing student interests, creating a sense of community, and encouraging student participation in various school activities.

TSA

TECHNOLOGY STUDENT ASSOCIATION Develop STEM skills by engaging students in competitions, hands-on projects, and leadership activities, encouraging innovation and teamwork.

Rise Up Tutoring

Roosevelt Middle School now offers an afterschool tutoring program. Every Wednesday from 2:45-3:45 students in grades 6-8 can come get additional academic support from certified teachers. We hope to see you there!
