Half Day Sessions: Preschool runs Mondays-Thursdays at Elwell Early Learning Center or Milliken Early Learning Center with two sessions to choose from (AM 8:30am-11:30am/PM 12:30pm-3:30pm) 

To receive UPK funding for the 2025-26 school year, children must:

  • Turn 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1, 2025.
  • Four year olds are automatically age-eligible for 12 hours of funding per week (August 2025–May 2026)
  • Families with 3-year-olds (turning 3 by October 1, 2025) can request a 3-year-old UPK application by:

NEW!! Full Day Preschool at Milliken Elementary School

Families may qualify for 30 hours of funding if they meet low-income and additional qualifying factors. OR, families can qualify for up to 12 hours and cover the other hours with tuition. Full Day preschool will be held Mondays – Thursdays from 8:15am – 3:45pm with a snack and lunch provided.

Tentative Enrollment Timeline

Pre-Registration (Continuity of Care Placements)

January 6 – February 3:

  • For families with:
    • Currently attending children
    • Sibling attending
    • Children of employees

February 3 – 10: Families must accept pre-registration matches.


Direct Enrollment

April 1 – End of 2025-26 School Year: Families without IEPs can enroll directly with providers.


IEP Direct Placement

December 2024 – End of 2025-26 School Year: Special Education Administrative Units (AUs) and school districts request placements according to IEPs.
