RMS FBLA Joins Hunger Heroes!

RMS FBLA Joins Hunger Heroes!

We are thrilled to share that Roosevelt Middle School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students have officially joined the Hunger Heroes Volunteer Team this semester! Hunger Heroes is a collaborative program that unites the Weld Re5J School District, the YMCA, the Weld County Food Bank, and volunteers from Roosevelt High School’s Interact Club to provide weekend food support for students in need.

This exciting partnership is a fantastic opportunity for our RMS FBLA students to develop valuable skills while giving back to the community. Through their work with Interact Club volunteers, our students are building teamwork, communication, and inventory management skills, all while learning about the operations of non-profit organizations.

Hunger Heroes currently supports over 160 students in the Weld Re5J School District, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals over the weekend. With our FBLA students joining the initiative, the program is gaining additional enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers, strengthening our school’s commitment to service and leadership.

Families in need of weekend food assistance are encouraged to register for the program through the following Google Form: https://tinyurl.com/Weldre5JHelps.

We are incredibly proud of our Roosevelt Middle School students for their commitment to making a positive impact. Thank you to our FBLA!
